A team of 12 came on this team from Michigan; with their primary outreach to distribute the school packs of supplies to our sponsored schools. With a quick jump start from the previous team; they completed the 82 schools that we had for this year’s outreach. 9641 children were blessed to get the basic supplies to allow them to attend school; giving them the opportunity to move toward a better education and future! They also assisted with the Embrace meetings, visited our Camotan church with participations, experienced the Jocotan market, participated in the Adopt-a-Child, provided a Samaritan Project for someone, assisted with a paint project at a school, did some home visits, learned to make tortillas and enjoyed a little time in Antigua. Most of the team members were from Fellowship Baptist Church in Saint Clair, MI; the church where team leader, Kim Slowinski and her husband attend. It was full of almost all first timers and they did an incredible job. I believe a partnership with this church was formed that will continue to see us working together in the future.
