SAMARITAN PROJECT UPDATE FOR APRIL 2023

We were able to do 5 Samaritan Projects during the month of April.  Three were done with our regular project donor and the last two will be the last “extra two” that we are doing with our Family Foundation Funding.

SAMARITAN PROJECT UPDATE FOR DOS QUEBRADAS

Alvino Garcia is 80 years old and lost his wife 4 years ago.  He works doing field work and earns about $40 a month to support himself.  The church took note that his living conditions were very poor and reached out to assist him and provide better housing.  His comments “I appreciate Sister Nancy and everyone that made this possible.  What a blessing to offer this help to those who really have a need and are unable to do something on their own.  May God bless all that were a part of this.”

SAMARITAN PROJECT UPDATE FOR AGUA ZARCA

Ramiro Gonzales is 60 years old and is married.  Their children are raised and Ramiro cuts and sells firewood to support them and earns about $40 a month.  Due to his limited resources he was unable to improve the house that they were living in.  His comments “I want to infinitely thank Sister Nancy for supporting us by giving us a new roof.”

SAMARITAN PROJECT UPDATE FOR MATAZANO

Marta Garcia is 66 years old and has been a widow for 4 years.  She does field work to support herself and earns about $30 a month to support herself.  The roof on her house was in very poor condition and the rain came in during the rainy season.  Her comments “God bless Sister Nancy and the pastor for taking me into account.  It has been a huge blessing to me.”
