SAMARITAN PROJECT UPDATE FOR MAY 2024

AGUA ZARCA

Virginia Pena is 77 years old and married.  She washes clothes for people, earning about $25 a month and her husband does agricultural work, earning another $25.  Their house was in poor condition and the church reached out to assist them.  Her comments “I am thankful for the opportunity to have received this assistance to give us a better place to live.  May God bless all that were involved in making this possible.”

Maria Suchite is 77 years old and has been a widow for 8 years.  She washes clothes for people and earns approximately $25 a month to support herself.  Her house was in very bad condition and the church chose her to be a candidate for a Samaritan project.  This project was done with Family Foundation Funding.  Her comments “May God bless the pastor and Sister Nancy for allowing me to receive this help to have a better place to live.  May God multiply back to you all that you do to help the poor.”

MATAZANO

Maria Perez is 67 years old and has been a widow for a number of years.  The church took into account that her house was in very poor condition and she did not have the resources to improve that.  Maria does field work for others; earning about $25 a month.  Her comments “I am so happy that I was given the chance to have a better place to live.  May God bless Sister Nancy, and all of her family, for the work that is done to assist the poor.”

Mario Suchite is 72 years old and lost his wife 2 years ago.  The house where he was living was in very bad shape and the church wanted to improve that for him.  Mario does agricultural work and earns about $30 a month to support himself.  This project was done with Family Foundation Funding.  His comments “May God bless in a special way everyone that made this assistance possible for me.  I pray that this program continues; to be able to bless others who do not have the personal resources to do this for themselves.”

LA PUENTE

Filomena Garcia is 77 years old and has been a widow for several years.  Her children are grown but the house where she lives is in very bad shape.  The church wanted to help her.  Filomena does agricultural field work and earns about $30 a month to support herself.  Her comments “May God continue to bless Sister Nancy and Servant Ministries for the work that they do to help those of us who are truly needy.”
