VILLAGE OF LA PUENTE
Margarita Vasquez is 75 years old and has been a widow for 15 years. She lives with one of her sons and he provides for her food and clothing. She owns a small piece of property, nearby her son; but did not have the resources to ever build upon it. Her comments “I am so grateful that I was selected as a candidate for this. I am so thankful to have my own place to live now, but still be close to family. God bless Servant Ministries and to those who send the finances to make this available to those in need.”
VILLAGE OF MATAZANO
Donaldo Garcia is 69 years old and married. He works in the fields, doing agricultural work; earning about $30 a month for their support. His house was in very poor condition and he did not have the ability to improve that. The church in Matazano reached out to assist. His comments “I am very grateful to Pastor Alvaro and to Sister Nancy for the support that has been given to me. May God bless you both and continue to provide in the future so that you can continue to bless more families.”
VILLAGE OF DOS QUEBRADAS
Petronila Aldana is 70 years old and has been a widow for 5 years. Her children are raised and she does field work to support herself; earning about $40 a month. Her house was in very poor condition and the roof was allowing rain to come in. Her comments “I give thanks to God and to Sister Nancy and her ministry because they are always trying to help those in need. May God bless them and repay them for all that they do. Thanks to them and to God, I can now sleep peacefully and not worry about getting wet when it rains!”
