VBS TEAM

We had a team of 15 very hard workers with the ministry in October. Their main outreach was to cover our annual town VBS but they did a number of other things as well. They had an activity in a school (sponsored by Redemption Church), put about 800 school packs together, did an Adopt-a-Child activity, visited a ministry church, hiked a volcano and covered 3 days of VBS. We had 250 children who participated with the VBS; it was a huge success. We use a professional clown at VBS and he makes sure that the Gospel is shared and also has a lot of fun time with the children. 800 bags of popcorn, 800 jello bags, 700 popsicles and 10 gallons of drink are part of the last days activities; along with face painting, dunk tank, 3 big inflatables and a store to purchase items with points earned. The team enjoyed 2 days at the end of their time to be in Antigua. They had challenges in travel days on both sides (arrival and departure); but functioned so well as a team. Their team leaders truly led and their team members were trained to follow, offer assistance at any time and to work together to get tasks done. They were a pleasure to work with😊!
