Michigan/Tennessee Team-February 9-18,2023

This team had a lot of different outreaches in the time that they were here.   They had a team of 18 people who got a lot accomplished.  They held a two day women’s seminar in the Camotan church and a lot of very special ministry time was done with those who attended plus having good teaching and some fun times to enjoy.  The men went out to do a Samaritan Project in the village of Marimba for a widow there; providing her with better housing.  They participated at the Sunday morning service in Camotan, did hospital visitation, painted my garage roof, weighed beans and bagged up vitamins for the Embrace program, did an Adopt-a-Child activity and had an activity with the youth!  They also went out on their last day to give a kick off to our School Sponsorship Project for 2023 and covered 10 of our schools and handed out about 1600 school supply packs.  One of the schools that they went to is sponsored by a church in Tennessee that had 3 team members here to visit the school and have a special time with the children.  The children at that school received a toy and bag of food to take home beside their school packs and the teachers received a lot of classroom resources.  We had a great time in Antigua with this team and some went to do the volcano hike, some did a walking tour and some did the coffee farm and macadamia farm tours.  We had a lot of first timers on this teams but also had a good number of people who have been here multiple times.
